二、产品的理化性质
成品呈白色或微黄色结晶粉末。湿时带有强烈的SO2气味、干燥后无其它气味，比重1.4 、溶于水和甘油、溶解度随温度升高而增大，产品微溶干醇。
三、用途：
焦亚硫酸钠广泛用于制革、织物及有机物的漂白、印染的媒染剂、食品保存、酿造和饮料的杀菌防腐剂。有机合成 ( 制造乙内酰胺 ) 照橡用还原剂、橡胶凝固剂及香料等
四、质量标准

五、注意事项：
产品露置空气中极易被氧化、并不断放出二氧化硫气体最后使产品变成硫酸钠，故本产品不易久存、不易露天存放、不可受潮，本产品加温到高于 150 度则分解放出二氧化硫气体，故不可与汽油酸类及氧化剂等其它易燃品混存和混运，本产品包装为内衬塑料袋、外加一层编织袋，每袋净重 50 公斤，出口每袋净重 25 公斤 。

B 、PHYSLCAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF PRODUCT
The product exists in form of white powder of monoclinic crystals with strong SO 2 smell when being wet , but without any other smell after it is dried .Its relative density is 1.40. It is easy soluble in water and little soluble in ethanol . It disintegrates easily when being heated.
C 、APPLICATIONS
Soudium pyrosulfite is widely used in taning, fabrics and bleaching organics , as dye mordant in printing and dyeing, for preserving foods, brewery, sterilization and rot-proof agent, It is also used in organic composition (manufacture of hydantoinate) and photography （ as reducing agent ） .It can be used as rubber coagulator and spice.

E 、CAUTION
The product is very easy to be oxidized when exposed to air and emit sulfur dioxide continuously, so it is difficult to store the product for a long time in open air and it is necessary to protect the product form moisture. The product will disintegrate when heated above 150 ℃ and emit sulfur dioxide gas, so the product cannot be stored and transported together with gasoline, acids or oxidants and other inflammable substances. The product is packed in internal plastic bags with external braided bags in net weight of 50kg . Product for export is packed in net weight of 25kg .
